Online Merchant Network Policies

Users wishing to post on an Online Merchant Network (OMN) Discussion Board must adhere to the policies outlined in the "Examples" and "Additional Information" sections below (the "Policy"). Please review the Policy carefully.

Violations of this Policy may result in a range of actions, including, without limitation, the following:

• Limits on OMN account privileges
• Account suspension

Examples of Violations

The following are examples of violations that may result in immediate post removal, warning, board suspension and/or banning from the site:

• Including another individual or user's contact information and/or email address in a post.
• Including profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, disruptive, or hostile comments, interpersonal disputes, or threats of violence in a post.
• Including material (graphic or text) that is obscene, pornographic or adult in nature.
• Using JavaScript or active code, making repetitive posts, or otherwise taking actions that interfere with site operations.
• Attempting to impersonate PayPal staff or other PayPal users.
• Encouraging others to violate OMN policies, the OMN User Agreement or the PayPal User Agreement.
• Advertising merchandise, auctions, services or commercial Web sites, including offers to trade, "wanted" posts, or charitable solicitations
• Refusing to follow OMN moderator instructions.
• Posting email content from private parties.
• Posting material that in any way violates the OMN or PayPal User Agreement.
• Posting Web addresses (URLs) or Web sites in the title of a threaded discussion.
• Posting listing reports or member violations. To report suspected violations, please under 'Options' in the upper right hand corner of the post, click on 'Report Abuse to a Moderator'
• Discussing or reposting deleted posts or warning letters, or discussion of sanctioned or no longer registered users.

Additional Information

• Messages and articles posted to OMN are solely the opinion and responsibility of the person posting the message or article.
• A sanction or banning of one User ID will apply to all of that member's User IDs and may apply to users of the same household. The use of false registration information or creation of multiple accounts for use on the OMN for the purpose of disruption or to avoid detection may result in permanent sanction or suspension of all associated registrations.
• Only persons aged 18 or over may post to the boards, without regard to whether an adult actually owns the registration or parental/guardian permission.
• Reporters, researchers, and third party representatives need permission prior to posting or emailing users in their official capacity.
• Posting copyrighted items without the permission of the copyright owner is not permitted.

Any content on the Online Merchant Network (the "Site") is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Accordingly, PayPal, Inc. ("PayPal") does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of such content on the Site. You agree to use the Site at your own risk. Under no circumstances will PayPal be liable to you in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise stored on the Site. You are hereby notified and do hereby agree to indemnify, save and hold PayPal harmless from and against any and all loss, claims of loss, injury or damage of any kind including, without limitation, those occasioned by or arising from material that you post, transmit, use or rely on including, but not limited to, the views expressed therein.
